Jorden’s First Re-enactment

DSC_0094A few weeks ago, a friend of ours, Ben Fleming, asked us if Jorden could go to a Civil War re-enactment with him and take part in it. Jorden was so excited! He was able to campout with the group and then participate in the re-enactment. His job was to be a “runner” for the captain. He delivered messages or went after things the captain forgot. Ha! Ha! Several of our friends from church are in this group and they were able to round up  clothes for him to wear. It is very important that everyone keeps as close as possible to the Civil War era.

Ben’s sister, Krista and her husband Leonard, are also a part of the re-enactment so she took pictures for us. (Unfortunately, Jeff and I were unable to attend.) I really appreciate her doing that! The re-enactment took place in Tannehill, Alabama.
