Christmas at the Horton's Home

Christmas continues....This past Sunday my side of the family got together for Christmas. I have two brothers-Larry who has two children, Hunter and Harlie and Lynn (married to Stacy) who also has two children, Bailey and Mallory. We all met at my parents house for lunch and and an afternoon of laughing and visiting together and of course exchanging Christmas presents. Below are some pictures from that event. Most of these are for family benefit. Now they can "steal" pictures from my blog to add to their collection. Ha! Glad I can be a help to you all. There are no pictures of Jorden or Jacob in this post. They were there too of course, but I didn't manage to get pictures of them. Not sure how that ecaped me. Oh well, I am sure they will show up in another post very soon!

My husband being a goof ball in the very overly crowded kitchen!

My dad cutting up some of his famous "beef brisket" he had cooked all night on his "Big Green Egg". It was wonderful! He certainly knows how to cook meat!

Taylor got a new robe from my parents and he had to show it off. He just loves it! and I love his "toothless" grin.

Bailey and Mallory (brother and sister)

My dad dressed up as Santa right before we opened our gifts. Mallory is 2 1/2 yrs old and at the perfect age to get "caught up" in the Santa scene. She is not afraid of him at all and has sat on his lap several times this year. So we thought it would be fun to have him come to "Nan Naw and Gran's house". This is my dad when he came into the room.
Daddy asked Mallory "Who's this little girl?" and she looked up at him with her big eyes and her cute little southern drawl and said "It's me". Oh, it was so precious!

She was thrilled to get to sit on Santa's lap again. She had gone around and collected several of mom's stuffed Christmas animals and she would not put them down.

My two beautiful nieces-Harlie and Mallory

Mallory is quite taken with her sucker and "Gran"-my dad. Stacy is sitting with them.

My parents with their "doll-baby" Mallory.

My niece-Harlie. She is 12 years old and very pretty. I don't get to see her near enough. She is a real sweetie. I am thankful for my two precious nieces. She was very nice about my taking pictures of her every time she turned around. I am not near that nice about it when people do that to me.

Cheese!!
The little princess-Mallory. Isn't she a doll?
