Every year on Easter I try to get pictures of our family in our “Easter finery”. Some years are better than others for sure, and with children you just never know what’s going to happen.
This year it seems we had a different problem to contend with. When it came time to have our picture taken at the end of the service, I asked a friend-Jonathan- to use our camera and take some pictures of us. The next thing I know a crowd has gathered with their camera’s to take our picture as well. We weren’t sure where to look. It was quite hilarious. Jonathan decided to just hold the button down on our camera and hope that one of them would turn out….
Here is the result:
Opps…Jeff is still getting everything tucked just right , Jorden has a bright smile though! None of us are looking at the right camera!
Well, we weren’t looking at our camera, maybe somebody got a good one though???
Here, Jorden is looking at our camera, but the rest of us are somewhere else…
Oops, I messed it up that time…
Ok, Leonard probably cracked us up over something here. Jorden looks ready to bolt. (I’m sure he was tired of this scene by now)
Oh no the sky is falling!!!
The boys have found something awfully interesting on the floor…
probably part of the sky from the previous picture???
This one is not too bad, but my head is a little cut off….
Oops, Jorden is looking at the wrong camera
Who are we supposed to be looking at again?
I think I’m trying to tell somebody something here. Obviously Leonard is being funny again…
Ok, I’m talking again, Taylor and Jorden don’t know where to look, and I think Daniel needs to cross the room???
I think Daniel is jealous of all the attention we are getting…Jorden, could you please look this way???
Did this one turn out? Nope, Jorden is still confused about which way to look….
So this is the one we decided to go with….
Happy Easter from the Messner Family!!

Haha! I have a nice pic of your family, but you're all looking in different directions in it too! The paparazzi was a little heavy that day... :-)
Heehee! Love the photo evolution- such real life, too! How handsome and grown-up your boys look (well Jeff, too, I suppose- we hope he looks grown-up by now ;o) Thanks for commenting on my blog.
What a story! A lot of work for one desired photo. I love the line-up of photos taken at your church. LOL! At least your brother was able to snag a keeper of ya'll. :)
