Well, I survived another year of elementary competition!! I think I am going to have a t-shirt made up that says that….
This year, our middle son Taylor was the only one old enough or young enough to go. Jacob will start next year and Jorden has enter the “Jr/Sr High Competition now. (hopefully I will have good things to report next week about his)
Taylor automatically entered the Choral Group because 4th-6th graders are required to be in choir at our school. They won 2nd place with a Superior rating! We were so proud. One of the songs they sang was called “God of Miracles”. It was done so beautifully. I actually started crying (which I am not sure that says a lot, it doesn’t take much. ha!), but it really did move me. He also automatically entered the Choric Speaking because 5th and 6th graders are required to do that. This year they did “The Cat and the Hat”. Taylor was in “group 1”. They also did a great job and won 1st place with a Superior rating!! Way to go Miss Hartman!!
Miss Hartman and Holly Walker (Holly played for the choir to sing)
