Charity Brown recently challenged wives to post praise of their husbands on their personal blogs. I took that challenge and want to tell everyone how wonderful my sweet husband is.
I am totally convinced that Jeff is 100% dedicated first of all to Christ as his Lord and Savior and secondly, to me and then our children. He treats me as the Queen of our home and teaches our boys to treat me that way also. He cares for me in little ways and in huge ways. He works hard 5 days a week at his regular job to provide income for our family. He also has taken on extra jobs such as serving as treasurer for our children's Christian Day School and he takes several evenings and Saturdays to cut grass with our oldest son to help earn money for those extras our family wants to do and to teach our son the value of hard work. I appreciate all that he does more than he could ever know. He plays with our boys in the evenings, taking time with each one to do what that child enjoys (i.e.-Lego's with Jacob, play station football with Jorden or Taylor, backyard football and baseball, wrestling on the floor) He takes time to pray with each of them at night before they go to bed. He cleans up the kitchen for me every night after supper so that I can go relax. He checks the locks on the doors every night before we go to bed (That is a big deal to me!) He has worked very hard on our house to improve it and I appreciate it so much. God has blessed me so much putting Jeff in my life. I love him more today than I ever imagined 17 years ago. We have had a wonderful life together. Yes, it has had its ups and downs but every experience has brought us closer to each other and to God.
Jeff, if you read this, please know I love you more than any earthly thing. I am not very good at putting into words my thoughts and feelings, but I want you to know I am proud to be your wife!
The love of my life!!

AW! Very, very sweet. Now we all have our suspicions confirmed~ you really do love that guy after all ;o) A very nice tribute, Lisa I'll have to get moving on my own little blog...
Tears in my eyes...literally! You guys are both great!
What a great tribute to Jeff. Y'all are a special couple! We love you.
Lisa,
It has been great visiting your blog. We were at HS the same year, I think. My last name then was "Phares." Anyway...years later and I have 3 boys also! I would have NEVER dreamed then that life with boys could be SO mcuh fun!
I agree with Charity that men are treated wihtout the respect they deserve in today's culture. Good post!
Hi, Lisa. I would say that you are very good at putting into words your thoughts and feelings! That was beautiful. Jeff is privileged to have such a sweet thoughtful wife as you.
It was great to see you again in Alabama and to listen to another mom's story who's been through the fire with one of her boys. We share something else special, both having 3 boys, etc. Thank you for taking time to share with me about your son's situation - I wasn't bored at all! You were an encouragement to me. Thanks for all your love and prayers!
Blessings,
Melodie
Great post Lisa! Loved looking at the pics of 'the boys'! A great tribute to Jeff too...very sweet.
Okay, I'm in the same boat as Holly with the tears in my eyes. By the way, I see the "Acts of Service" love language all over this blog entry. His language or yours? (Or both?)
How very sweet! I always knew my cousin was a great guy, but I think he's just as lucky to have you as a wife! Many blessings to you both!
Wow, talk about a touching blog article!! In reading this article, Jeff sounds a lot like Uncle Neal. It is something, because I have no doubt that if Aunt Eleanor was still alive she would be so proud of the husband and father he has become (as I know Uncle Neal is!!) As the only guy to post a comment yet for this I have to say you did a pretty great job of singing your husband's praises!! He is a great guy, but I agree with Jamie when she said he is pretty lucky to be married to you too! You guys make a fantastic couple and though the years have had their ups and downs it is true that they have brought you closer together!! I love reading your blog because it is an inspiration to me all the time!! Keep up the great work!! Talk with you soon!! Stop by soon!
