This year we shared Thanksgiving with our Messner family. We met in Kentucky and stayed at a Holiday Inn for a few days over Thanksgiving. This was our second time to try this and we love it! It is so relaxing and such an enjoyable family time.
Here are some pictures from our weekend.
Holiday Inn serves a large buffet on Thanksgiving day. Lots of people from the area come in, plus any registered guests of the hotel. (which is not a lot over Thanksgiving!) They do a fantastic job! It is unbelievable how much food they have. But they feed a tremendous crowd-at three different settings.

Thanksgiving night, Uncle Joe finally broke down and gave the boys “stocking gifts”. Jacob was driving us all nuts to open gifts, but I wanted to wait till have Thanksgiving.
The hotel let us use a conference room to play games in.
