This year we went to Hiawassee, Georgia for Spring Break. Joe flew in to Chattanooga, TN where we met and then drove together over to Hiawassee. We stayed in the same house that we rent when we go in the fall with my parents and my father-in-law.
It was different going in the spring. We've never been in the spring before so everything looked different. They were about a month behind us in the "blooming stage", so the trees were still bare.
It was very cold in the mornings when we would first get up, but would warm up during the day. The weather was perfect in my opinion!
We spent the first part of the week doing a daily hike. Our family loves hiking (well, Jeff and I do anyway. The boys can take it or leave it right now, but I am sure they will grow to love it as much as we do eventually.)
Here are pictures from our hikes and other things we did during Spring Break.

| Taking a rest on the steepest part of the hike. We were all out of breath. Love the expression on Taylor's face. (Football!!) |
