Sorry this is taking so long. We took so many pictures! It is hard to figure out which ones to post and which to skip!
Thursday, our whole group drove back across the border to the American Side of the Falls to have some fun. We crossed the border 4 times during our trip. Each time my anxious heart would beat rapidly. I was so afraid we would be picked to pull off to the side so they could go through all of our stuff. We were traveling with 6 people for a week. LOTS of stuff in our van!! I sure didn’t want it spilled out all over the ground for us to repack. Thankfully, we didn’t have any problems! They asked us different questions every time we went over, but most of them were friendly and polite.
We rode the “Maid in the Mist”, visited the “Cave in the Winds”, visited the Aquarium, and saw the IMax movie called “Legends and Daredevils.”
Pop Pop with his grandsons…
Walking alongside the Niagara River with Jacob
This is not us, but we did this! We actually stood underneath the falls!! It was unreal! Very cold! I thought these people were nuts when I first saw them do it. But I let my family talk me into doing it too. (Glad I did)
Getting ready to ride the Maid…
Joan and her boys
Jacob was ready to stay dry!
Jeff put the camera up inside his poncho to keep it dry.
We got even closer than this!!
Right before we got close to the falls. Pop Pop looks so funny!! Jeff called him “Little Blue Riding Hood”.
Afterwards…
We all got a wet!
Jeff didn’t take time to dry his glasses!
Jorden loved the experience!
