I hesitate to post these pictures because they are so minor compared to the damage in the surrounding areas in Alabama. This is actually from Wednesday morning. We had “straight-lined winds” come through about 6:00 am. We were all in our beds, not realizing how bad it was outside. Thank God, we didn’t have any damage to our house or our yard. However, our neighborhood had a lot of damage. We were not able to get out of our subdivision for several hours. Trees were blocking both exits along with power lines that were down.
Our power was off for 5 days. But we have so much to be thankful for!!
