The boys wonderful and talented piano teacher, Karen Blankenship
Jacob played in two-
The first one was supposed to be with a little boy-Jerrel, who is 6 yrs old and in his 2nd yr. of piano. Unfortunately he became ill the day of the recital and was not able to be there. So Mrs. Blankenship played his part with Jacob. They played “When the Saints Go Marching In”.
Jacob also played with Taylor the song they played at State Competition this past March-“This Little Light of Mine”. We’re so proud of you Jacob!!
Jorden played 3 songs. The first one was with Andrew -“The Imperial March” from Star Wars.
He also played his competition piece that he played with Alissa this past March-“He Lives”.
These three students played “Three Blind Mice” while wearing sunglasses. It was really cute!
Jorden played in a trio with Andrew and Skyler-“Star Wars” (Main Theme)
Great Job, Jorden!! We are so proud of you!
Taylor played in two-the duet with Jacob and…
He played in a “quartet” with Kali, Bryanna & Daniel. They played “Grandfather’s Clock”. All 4 of them had a different part to play. It was really cool!
Great Job Taylor! We are so proud of you!
We didn’t know it at the time, but Taylor was not feeling well at all. He said afterwards that his head was killing him and he had a temperature that night of 103 when we got home! Never did really figure out what was wrong. He ran fever for two days then went back to his normal healthy self. So proud of him for the great job he did considering how rotten he felt.
Mrs. Blankenship rewarding Jorden
Jorden worked hard this past year and filled up several goals charts. He, along with 3 other students, won a music medallion.
