We had to wait till after New Year’s to have our Christmas get together with my family with us being out of town, and different ones working. So this year we had it on the Saturday after New Year’s. Once again everyone was there. It was so nice to get together with my family. Daddy cooked a beef brisket and we all added other things to make it a meal. Everything tasted so wonderful! Just way too much to consume it all. Here are some pictures from that afternoon. Some of the “ladies” visiting with each other. (mom, Harlie, Stacy, and Gina)
The cousins playing “Clue” together.
Mom’s beautiful Christmas tree, before the unwrapping frenzy!
My niece and sister-in-law…
My other niece, Mallory, checking out all the gifts before we opened them.
Mom and Dad with all the grandkids…
Mallory was sooooo excited to finally be opening gifts!
Jacob’s favorite gift!! Yay, another Webkin!!
No one could walk through there, gifts and paper were everywhere!!
Taylor also got a new Webkin from my parents.
My brother, Larry bought Mom this Willow Tree figurine.
Daddy got several new sweaters and shirts from all his kids.
We got Mom this puzzle. She loves puzzles and she loves birds!
Taylor got this pillow for reading in bed. He asked for one like this last year, but we couldn’t find it. He was very surprised that NanNaw & GeDe remembered it this year!
Mom has a beautiful display this year on her mantel of cardinals, so when I found this in Ohio, I couldn’t resist getting it for her.
Taylor got a “Snoopy Christmas” book to read…
My handsome nephew Hunter. Thanks for letting me grab this picture of you!!
My and my sweet sister-in-law Stacy
Mallory wasn’t in the mood for more pictures!
Mom & Dad got Mallory this Dora umbrella and she was thrilled! The rest of us were scared to death that she would poke out her eye, (or ours) or knock something of NanNaw’s over the rest of the evening!
Love this picture of her!! Little Miss Priss!
I couldn’t resist posting all these pictures of her. She is such a doll!
Mom and Dad got Jorden this Dino CD. He loves to hear him play!!
This is another of Jacob’s passions…Nutcrackers!
A nice brown vest from my dad to mom (picked out with my help!)
All the grandsons get a knife every year from my parents.
Mallory broke her “piggy bank” that she had at home, so Santa replaced it this year!
Christmas lasted for quite a while in our family. First up north, then here. I love the way it goes on and on!! Most importantly, it can go on and on in our hearts if we let it. Thank You Jesus, for being the true Gift that keeps on giving all year!!
