The boys are about to wrap up another school year. At their school they have two award ceremonies. The first one is for all the graduates (K-5, 6th Gr. and 12th Gr.), 1st and 2nd place in each grade (or subject in 7-12), Top Scholar, and Christian Character award in each class. Then they have another awards day on the last day of school where the Elementary only get awards for 3rd, 4th and “Honorary Mention” as well as Character Trait awards. This way everybody gets to go home with some kind of award. Jorden is graduating from 6th grade this year so he received his medallion for that. He also was runner-up for top scholar, 2nd in History, Language, Bible, Penmanship, and Reading. He received 1st place in Science and Math and Conduct. Taylor was runner-up for top scholar in 4th grade. He also received 2nd place in Bible, and 1st place in Math, Language, and Conduct. He also received the Christian Character award for his class. (I was more pleased with that than anything else. Jacob received 1st place for conduct in 2nd grade. Here are some pictures from that night….
