Yesterday was Jacob's Birthday. We had a few kids from our church over to help us celebrate. It was a mixture of Valentine's and Birthday decorations. Jacob has always loved Valentine's Day (wonder why??) and I always thought he would not want me decorating with hearts for his birthday, but actually he loves it. We have done other things in the past-Thomas, Bob the Builder, Pirate's ect, but he is just as happy with Valentine themed stuff. So this year, to make it easier on myself, that is what we did. I love to decorate for Valentines, so we just added a few "party decorations" and we were good to go. 
He is not a big birthday cake person nor does he like cupcakes, his favorite is this chocolate chip cookie cake. We pretty much do this every year. I forgot to order it ahead of time (it was a rather busy week for us) so this is what we were stuck with. Oh well, every piece was eaten so I guess it didn't matter that much.
Jacob is into "webkinz" right now. His Pop-Pop Messner sent him money for his birthday so Jeff had to take him yesterday morning to buy this little guy. He named him "Jack". ha! (He said he wanted to name him Valentine but that was already taken)

Jacob is "stuffed animal crazy". We gave him this February Birthday Beenie Baby. He also gets a "Valentine stuffed animal" from my mom every year. This year it was a little dog.

Birthday parties are so much fun, but so exhausting!!
